Pedestrian Access – West Side of Dome during Construction

Update January 2020:
The Stadium Roof construction team continues progress on the crown truss installation and will begin crane assembly at the Dome’s southeast corner. Closure of Forestry Drive for crane assembly is required to continue crown truss construction.

The Forestry Drive closure is planned to begin Sunday, February 2 and will remain closed into spring. The closure will extend along Forestry Drive from Campus Drive, on the west end, to the Barnes Center at the Arch, on the east end. During this time, only local Syracuse University and SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry traffic will be allowed campus entry at the Euclid Avenue and Forestry Drive entrances. Through traffic will not be permitted. Please plan to use an alternate route (e.g. Waverly Ave).

The sidewalk along the north side of SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry’s Illick Hall will remain open for pedestrian travel.

For everyone’s safety, you are encouraged to remain alert in work areas, watch for route changes, heed construction flagger directions/employees at work and follow pedestrian signs.
