Myslow Named New Director of Drumlins Country Club

Kris Klinger, Associate Vice President of Auxiliary Services, announced that Chris Myslow has been named the director of Drumlins Country Club. Myslow will begin his tenure at Drumlins on May 3, assuming the role that was left open by Lori Klish’s departure earlier this spring.

Myslow comes to Syracuse from Tumble Brook Country Club in Bloomfield, Conn., where he served as the general manager of the club for two years. He has 20 years of experience in the golf industry and a diverse working background that includes time at ESPN as an associate producer and building and managing his own corporate communications firm.

“Chris brings a wealth of experience, energy and excitement to the team,” said Klinger. “We couldn’t ask for anyone better to lead Drumlins and provide outstanding service to its dedicated members and the broader University community.”

In the immediate future, Myslow will contribute to the ongoing food and beverage transition at the club. A new chef has just come on board to oversee the reopening of the café and catering operations at Drumlins, and a new menu will debut to members and the general public later this spring. The café environment has undergone an upgrade, with the banquet and ballroom areas to follow within the next few years.

Myslow will focus his attention on the needs of club members and will dedicate his energy to enhancing the club experience, as Drumlins looks to grow its membership base. He will also oversee the reopening of the club’s pool area, which was closed last summer due to COVID-19 public health measures.

Myslow is not a stranger to the Central New York area. Before receiving his masters degree from Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Conn., he received his bachelor’s degree from Ithaca College, and welcomes his return to the area.

“I look forward to enhancing the culture of golf at Drumlins and delivering a world-class golf experience,” said Myslow. “My passion for golf and my love of Upstate New York is an exciting personal journey for me. I look forward to integrating into the community and creating a great environment for all of our guests.”
