This form is used to apply for participation in the University’s Faculty and Staff Guaranteed Mortgage Program. The Guaranteed Mortgage program allows the purchase of single and two family homes and townhouses in designated neighborhoods around the campus without a downpayment. Syracuse University guarantees the mortgage to the lending institution. The buyer must agree to live in the property as his or her primary residence.
Full-time and regular part-time faculty and staff of Syracuse University are eligible to participate. Temporary faculty and staff, graduate assistants, adjunct instructors and teaching assistants are NOT eligible.

Once the form is approved by SU, it will be returned to the applicant. It is the applicant’s responsibility to forward the form to the lending institution where the applicant is applying for a mortgage.
